All morning students worked hard to get the floats ready for the judging and the parade through Peoria at 2.30 The game against the Glendale Cardinals began at 7.30 Even though we lost by a score of 6 to 20, it did not spoil the occasion The Varsity Club sold mums all week and at the game. The Pep Club sold balloons which were released on cue At half-time the Band and Kitten Kadets performed Debbie McCarty was crowned Homecoming Queen, and Robert Camacho was crowned at the dance after the game. Drama Students Present Comedies ON OCT. 16TH the Drama Department presented three comedies and four funny skits in its opening production of the sea- son. The first play, entitled Nobody Sleeps, is about a couple of burglars who encounter an interesting family. Shock of His Life was presented by the Drama I Class. It deals with a misunderstood Life and Death situation. The Advanced Drama Class presented If Girls Asked Boys For Dates, a comedy about reversed dating roles. The four skits were: TaIk for Two, R. U. There, Madam, I Pitch and Frontier Psychiatrist. Announcers for the evening's productions were Lynette Forbes and Tina Lintz. Ms. Deanna Shcolnik directed all the productions. This is her sixth year with PHS, and the Drama Depart- ment has come a long way in that time.
