FFA and FHA Choose Sweetheart Bachelor The Sweetheart Dance, sponsored by the FFA and FHA, was held after the last basket- ball game of the season. FHA chose the Bachelor and FFA chose the Sweetheart. Unlike past years, the Sweetheart was chosen just from among FFA members. This was because the Sweetheart has to attend FFA functions and must have some knowledge of what FFA is all about. The Bachelor, Sam Dilettoso, a junior, was chosen for the quality of the cherry pie which he made. All Bachelor candidates had to make a pie. Fortunately for Sam, his turned out the best. The Sweetheart was Nancy Bango, a sophomore. During her reign as Sweetheart, she will attend the FFA Banquet and compete with other Sweethearts for the State title.
