Coached by members of the football team, the girls practiced after school all week long in order to pre- pare for a long, hard fought game. The game re- mained scoreless for the first three quarters despite desperate tries by both sides. Then, in the fourth quar- ter, Melissa Ford intercepted a Junior pass and ran the ball for a Senior touchdown, The Seniors won with the final score 6-0. For those times that got boring, the fans had cheerleaders to lead them on. They did a terrific job trying to imitate the real cheers and sup- plied the fans with a lot of laughs.
