Trick Or Treat Sets Theme Homecoming 74-75 was altered by the rain that persisted all week long. Floats were built in barns or garages. The band couldn't march at halftime and the Queen candidates had to walk onto the field on a path of boards. But this by no means affected Homecoming. The theme was Trick or Treat, a funny coincidence, seeing as Home- coming fell on Halloween. The week was high- lighted by a pumpkin carving contest and a dress- up day in which students could wear costumes to school. The Homecoming Queen, who was Virginia Garcia, was announced and crowned at the game. The King, Willie Gutierez, was crowned later at the dance. The turnout at the dance was extremely good at which many alumni showed up. Everyone enjoyed the dance as the band, RevoIution played.
