Things Which W e Remember A high school career consists of a maze of memories. But from this maze certain moments stand out more than all the rest. Thoughts of hesitancy just before a race, or a play, or even a test, return to us. Culmination in the presentation of a dance could only follow hours of planning and decorating. Prepara- tion leading to fulfillment made at- tainment sweeter. The quiet mo- ments: the evenings of conversation, the long Walks, thoughts before at- tending dances come back to us.

Demanding, nderstanding In a faculty such as ours, many outstanding teachers work. We would like to call attention to one who we feel exemplifies a superior educator. Within his chosen field, he generates enthusiasm While demand- ing perfection. Though he is some- times sharp, he will give of himself to help a student meet his goals. His pupils try harder as a result of his compassion and understanding. He has also sponsored classes, leading them through their projects at PHS. A pioneer, he founded the Youth Symphony.
