Barbara Conway Muriel Woodhall Senior Class Officers The Senior Class officers, on behalf of the Centennial Class, pay tribute to the valedic- torian of the first graduating class of Peoria High School: Miss Lucetta Howell She and fourteen others entered Peoria High School May 6, l8S6, having passed the necessary entrance examinations. During that year others were admitted, bringing the total to forty-five students. In l858, Miss Howell and three others Were graduated in the first graduating class. At the graduation exercises she read the valedictory speech.
