Our Memorial We honor these—the gold star boys of Peoria High School, who have had their flight through life cut short by the storm of war. Never can they be revered enough. May God cause the hearts of all nations to treasure the peace for which these boys gave their lives—a peace which we who remain should make sound and permanent. May we be inspired with vision and determination to make freedom a living thing, with justice to the humblest, be he black or white, foreign or native. These boys are forever blessed as the saviors of the freedom and righteousness which it is now our duty to maintain.
