Our ribute Endlessly onward flows the river of our school life, beginning as tiny rills and brooks in which it finds its source, and finally plunging majestically into the great open sea. Being a part of this stream is a truly thrilling experience. The river's course is constantly being influenced by new and changing tributaries, all of which contribute their share toward the river's ultimate goal. ln our school life these are the many experiences and activities in and outside of the classrooms which furnish a direct influence upon our later life. The effect which a storm has upon the river is vividly seen. At the present time a severe and devastating storm is spreading its reaching fury into the lives of all of us. The sea into which our river is flowing is not a tranquil one. However, with the courage and competence that we are developing as our stream flows onward, we shall be prepared for the tempests ahead. Many of those who have gone before us are now bravely with- standing the storm. Men and women who were once a part of this river are serving our country and serving us to their utmost. Some have already given their lives, and more will pay the same sacrifice.
