fi fi ax , Q90 Mi fi 5.4 E History of People's Bible School Pe0ple's Bible School opened its first semester on Silver Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina, January 25, 1932. It began with eighteen students and four teachers. Each year there has been a steady increase in the enrollment, the faculty and the curriculum. In 1936 the school was moved to its present site which is one mile west of Greensboro on Highway No. 70. This beautiful location, with its growing population and its proximity to the thriving city of Greensboro, is a very desirable residential center. The school is an undenominational Christian training institution. It seeks to serve all alike regardless of church affiliations. It has neither endowments nor stated incomes, but is purely a work of faith. Growth is determined by the increase of its circle of friends and the daily manifestation of the Lord's Presence. The purpose of the school is to provide for Christian young people an institution that is clean, safe and spiritual. The school accepts the plenary inspiration of the Bible. It gives no place to any ism. It is Armenian in doctrine, Pauline in teaching, Wesleyan in interpretation and stands firmly for the doctrine and experience of Christian perfection. The curriculum at present includes a three year Seminary course, a two year College, a four year high school course and elementary work.
