It began with eighteen students and four teachers. Each year there has been a steady increase in the enrollment, the faculty and the curriculum. In 1936 the school was moved to its present site which is one mile west of Greensboro on Highway No. 70. This beautiful location, with its growing population and its proximity to the thriving city of Greensboro, is a very desirable residential center. The school is an undenominational Christian training institution. It seeks to serve all alike regardless of church affiliations. It has neither endowments nor stated incomes, but is purely a work of faith. Growth is determined by the increase of its circle of friends and the daily manifestation of the Lord's Presence. The purpose of the school is to provide for Christian young people an institution that is clean, safe and spiritual. The school accepts the plenary inspiration of the Bible. It gives no place to any ism. It is Armenian in doctrine, Pauline in teaching, Wesleyan in interpretation and stands firmly for the doctrine and experience of Christian perfection. The curriculum at present includes a three year Seminary course, a two year College, a four year high school course and elementary work. Q2 fx: . 5 Campus Scenes 4 ' M gang W W M :Qt . Vi! We love and esteem you as our own, and therefore your joys will accelerate ours, your faithfulness will provoke us to diligence, and your sorrows will be felt in our hearts as the days come and go. 5227 If your earthly treasures be few, we may not weep for thatg if your names never appear in Who's Who, we shall'not complain: and if the political and social powers of this world should offer you no crown, at this we shall take no offense, but when you honor our Savior, bear the burdens of your fellowmen, act well your part, and come to be crowned heirs of eternal life in Glory, in that day we shall rejoice that 325 we have not labored in vain and that you have not received the grace of God 'I in vain. -I We hearby forgive, forget, and forsake your freckles, your frets and your frolics, and elect to think of you as fair-faced, calm-hearted, and sober-minded, please be as generous toward us touching our imperfections and failures toward you. Remember the words of jesus: He that would be great, let him be servant of all. fbi Remember also the words of Solomon: He that winneth souls is wise. Soul-winning ' X is a wise expenditure of all life's content. They who go forth winning souls, shall M come again, rejoicing. Be good examples, send us new students, pray for us daily, shake hands with us across the years, and send us a piece of your wedding cake. fi Yours in His Faithfulness until we meet in The Glory. Although it has been organized only two years it has made, and is making some projects which will promote the school in its future life. Through the Alumni our students have formed a binding fellowship which cannot be forgotten. The graduates of this school who ane scattered over many parts of this state and the surrounding states have been able to keep in touch with the progress of the school and its students. The fee for membership of the Alumni is twenty-ive cents per year. It meets every year in the school auditorium, in the afternoon preceding the graduation exercise. This year it will be held at 2 o'clock, April 30, 1940. x'o JQ ' F4 J, i 122: n 'aff , M ' Tl .2723 7 inf! 13 KL A 5355 E4 Eff!
