GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM Back Row: Wilma Hepworth, Cora Graham, Mary Jo Palmer, Mrs. Lucas, Nancy Squire, Roberta Gregwer, Kay Kessler. Front Row: Donna Coon, Sharon Rellinger, Sharon Finucane, Gloria Cobleigh. The Pentwater girls' basketball team has received a new coach, Mrs. Lucas, who has done many things to improve the team. The team has been very gocd in holding all of their opponents to a small margin. They have had a very rough schedule this year: Custer, Luther, Walkerville, Freesoil, Holton, and St. Simons. All games were close and very exciting, there has been a very good turn out to all home games, too. The girls has progressed very rapidly learning new plays and tricks which are sufficient for winning games There are many new players coming up which should be very good, with a little practice and good coaching. The team this year will lose fifty per cent of their players, whom are Seniors. Those leaving will be: Mary Jo Palmer, Roberta Gregwer, Cora Graham, Kay Kessler, and Nancy Squire. On behalf of all the departing team--good-luck to those who will make up the team next year.
