Private enterprise has filled the gap at PJ C. Located adjacent to the campus, the Pen- sacola Dorms have most of the characteristics of state-owned dormitories at senior institutions. There is even a curfew! Feeling that they can no longer tolerate life at home under parental control, many PJC stu- dents choose to live in the dorms. Here they get their first taste of life in the adult World-With fewer restrictions but more responsibilities. In the dorms there is no middle-aged critic of one's choice in music, one's hair style, one's cloth- ing style or, for that matter, one's life style. But there is also no one to Wash and iron one's clothes, clean one's room or cook one's breakfast. 'tw -5 - es., X. Q, s , sa we . - K W' . .
