Campus Elections Check 19 candidates only as your selection for representation . . . As election officials la- boriously count votes, they wonder about the sincerity - the responsibility -- of some of the newly elected senators. Will they take the office more seriously than have some of their predeces- sors? Has a new day dawned at PJC? When final vote counts are revealed two factors are evident. Apathy, an old and evidently established institu- tion of politics continues to linger while at the same time the political party system thrives. After weeks of campaigning, drawing posters and talking with students, newly chosen senators wonder if their effort to give PJ C students a truly representative Student Government was really worth it considering the less than 20 percent voter turnout.
