She is an inactive member of Phi Lambda Nu sorority and their former vice president. She received Best Pledge award at the time of her pledging. She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi, an interna- tional sorority. She is also a former sweetheart for Circle K. Beverly is the feature editor of TIDE as Well as copy editor and fashion editor of the CORSAIR. She was selected to the CORSAIR'S Hall of Fame. Homecoming uc-:cn Deborah King Cute, active, interested -- these Words seem to describe perfectly Deborah King, PJC's 1971 Homecoming Queen. The petite co-ed is a member of the Afro-American Society and the Black Stu- dent Union, in both of which she takes a very ac- tive part. Deborah is the sweetheart of Mu Iota Kappa fraternity and serves as the president of Zeta Phi Beta sorority. With an acute interest in Black culture, she strives to better inform people of the meaning and purposes of the groups to which she belongs. N f t
