v f X 122 TIDE F all Staff As is often the case with yearbook staffs, things were a bit slovv at first. Formulation of a master plan and organization of a staff always precede actual assemblage of a yearbook. There Were so many decisions to be made--decisions con- cerning the general theme, cover design, paper stock, type specifications and innumerable other things. And veteran staffers had to brush up on the rudiments of yearbook layout and design While at the same time novices had to learn the basics. By mid-September, though, the preliminary hurdles had been overcome and things began to move along. The staff accepted the challenge of producing the best TIDE ever and united in a common effort.
