Sec- ond Row: Hernan Leyna, Gilda Ahumada, Rosario Diplomats The Diplomats Club is composed of students who are interested in the study of foreign lan- gauges and cultures-usually persons majoring or minoring in one of the foreign languages taught at PJ C. Through regular meetings and informal get-togethers, at which films are shown, foreign guests are entertained and a variety of related projects are pursued, members learn much about other languages, peoples and places. Projects this year included a buffet dinner for foreign members of the community, the estab- lishment of a language committee to assist foreign exchange students and collection for the Peruvian earthquake disaster fund. During the Christmas season the Diplomats sponsored Christmas Around the World, -a program in which Christ- mas customs from throughout the World Were demonstrated by club members. The Diplomats participated in the Homecoming parade, with members dancing European and South American folk dances.
