Dances, plays, elections, Sports Nite, breakfasts and trips - you name it -- kept all class executive committees cutting a rug as they carried their re- sponsibilities to a conclusion. Whether jitterbugging or waltzing, momba-ing or fox-trotting, all comers had a good time at the Harvest Hop fseventh grade as hostj , the Turnabout fthe Pennsman staffj, the Snow Hop Qeleventh gradej, the Valentine Dance fseventh gradej, Holi- day in Heaven 1 twelfth gradej and the Junior Promenade Qeleventh gradej. , For those who liked to trot the boards there were Danger-Girls Working, staged by the Senior class, and The Late Christopher Bean, staged by the Junior class. The mock presidential election and Sports Nite' were two events conducted by and for all classes. Need it be said that, in the former, there was a Re- publican landslide! in the latter, an overwhelming Orange victory-whoops, Black-gosh, can't remem- ber which-Qactually, we don't know, for the Penns- man goes to press before the event is even scheduledj. Completing the year's activities were the much dreamed of senior trip to Washington, D. C., pre- ceded by the traditional breakfast, served by the juniors. For fun, fellowship-headaches, too--Pennsbury had them in 1953. M. CAFFEY entertains a group of his classmates as he gives one of those required talks in Grade I 1 English. LISTENING TO M. Pisauro, secretary of the Class of '54, are other junior officers- M. J. Stryker treasurer, D. Stetter fpresi- dentj, and V. Garnier fvice-presidentl. MR. SHERMAIWS Spanish I class imbibes some Spanish culture the easy way-by recording instead of from as textbook.
