l E Karen Eigenbrood, Typing Editor Carol Erle, Copy Editor, and Diane Taylor, Assistant Copy Editor Just a year ago, the Editorial Board met for the first time to plan for the 1968 Legend. Since that time, the seemingly impossible task of creat- ing a yearbook has been successfully accom- plished. The work done by the editors on senior pictures and write-ups, as well as activities and sports photographs, has given them a feeling of satisfaction, despite the many hectic hours before deadlines. There were many others who contributed their time and efforts to make this yearbook a special one. Mr. Kelley, Mr. Inacker, and, of course, Mrs. Kurtz, have done much for the Legend, in guidance as well as in actual work. The total result is the 1968 Legendg a book which has given a number of us warm memories and, it is hoped, will call to mind fond remem- brances of our high school days in the years to come. f - ui: ..,, . M, gi ---Y . EDITCJR'S MESSAGE one hundred and ninety-silvc In producing this yearbook, we have tried to capture our four most memorable years at Pennsauken. I hope in the future we can look through this yearbook and remember the football games, lunches, favorite classes and teachers, or old romances. The purpose of this yearbook is to enable us to look back at our high school years with fondness. After twelve years of schooling, we have reached the points in our lives when we must now seek our future interests. Some of us will continue in school, some will go into industry and business, and others will join the armed forces. After high school we may never see the people with whom we have shared our good times and our sad moments. As we leave Pennsauken High School, I sincerely hope that we never lose Contact with each other and that we never forget the great moments we have spent here. I would like to thank the individual editors for their co-operation, hard work, and patience. To name their individual contributions would require a book in itself. Thanks must be given to Mr. Frank Wick, photogra- pher, who has provided the excellent black and white and color pictures throughout the book. Mr. Andrew Kelley also has our appreciation. His management of our tinancial affairs made expensive items possible, such as the color pictures. Special recognition must be given to Mr. Inacker. who guided us through many periods of indecision. Most important of these people is Mrs. Kurtz. for without her help. this book would not ap- proach the quality that it has. No work or responsibility was too great for her. Also. I would like to thank the members of the Class of '68 for making our class what it is-the greatest. 1 Ray
