Hoping to retain the championship, our team was enthusiastic when it met this September. John Barbose, the new chief, was cer- tainly the incentive for team spirit and determination. The Indians proceeded as planned to scalp their first three foes, Atlantic City. Bridgeton, and Oakcrest. However, a spirited Millville team sur- prised the undefeated tribe. Pennsauken bounced back to the dis- may of their next opponents by registering three straight shutouts and one overpowering victory over Vineland. The highlight of these victories was the outstanding triumph over Camden Catholic. Al- though Cherry Hill West defeated Pennsauken in the final game of the season, the Indians were a worthy opponent and will surely regain our record as Group Four Champions next year. . . , one hundred and fifty-nine
