While the members are working, they are also gaining experience in the broad fields of art. Under the supervision of Mrs. Jeanette Kelloway, the club has taken trips to various museums. NEW LITERARY CLUB The New Literary Club has revised its program of discussing literature along new and interesting lines under the first- year supervision of Miss Janet Houston. Through such activities as listening to and discussing the works of contempo- rary folk artists and taking field trips to folk concerts, the club has given its members a fresh outlook on the world of literature. FLYING CLUB The Flying Club is Pennsauken High's newest addition. Through such activities as films of iiying, field trips to airports and individual Hying lessons, the mem- bers are given a new perspective of the world of fiight. Advised by Miss Eileen Timoney, the club has had a successful first year. one hundred and forty-nine

DEBATING CLUB Pennsauken High's most consistently successful competitive group is the debat- ing team. drawn from the members of the Debating Club. Grueling research. sharp minds. and careful strategy lie begind the sleight-of-tongue act which re- peatedly dazzles the competition. A meeting of this club is undoubtedly one place where both sides of a question can be heard. STAGE CREW The Stage Crew, responsible for all which transpires behind the scenes in the auditorium. maintained in the discharge of its duties this year the same spirited eiiciency as in the previous years. The way in which the boys have responded to directors' demands helped make this an- other successful year on stage for Penn- sauken. POLITICAL SCIENCE Under the experienced guidance of Mr. Harbison. the members of the Po- litical Science Club are given an opportu- nity to discuss contemporary political issues. JUNIOR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATIVE SOCIETY These two girls were chosen for their scholastic ability and their character to join with two representatives from each school in South Jersey area at meetings held at different industries. During these meetings, which are held once a month. the representatives hear guest speakers discuss various aspects of a business ca- reer. Jeanette Godfrey, Karen Eigenbrood. BUSINESS EDUCATION CLUB The Business Education Club enables interested seniors to enter the business world more easily by giving them infor- mation to supplement classroom activity. Speakers from various fields explain job opportunities available and the duties performed in these jobs.
