AMERICAN FIELD SERVICE The American Field Service Club is composed of a group of students who work to promote a world of peace through understanding and friendship. They help raise funds for the support of the foreign exchange student in conjunc- tion with the community A.F.S. chapter. Due partially to their work, a representa- tive from Pennsauken High School was able to visit Germany last summer. GERMAN CLUB The German Club tries to provide in- terested German students with a future knowledge and understanding of the Ger- man culture. FUTURE TEACHERS OFJMMERKDX The Pennsauken Chapter of the Future Teachers of America tries to instill in its members the importance of educating young people today. The monthly meet- ings provide the basis for the club's many activities, such as giving a Valentine Tea for the faculty, making a food basket for the needy at Christmas, and observing Junior High classes. FUTURE HONHHAAKERS OFlMMERKDX The Future Homemakers of America broadens the knowledge of the students and instills in them the ideals of home- making. Among the activities in which this club participates are cake sales, an annual fashion show, a faculty tea, and the annual Homecoming Parade. SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The Spanish National Honor Society recognizes the students who have at- tained a high level of achievement in Spanish, and promotes a continued inter- est in the Hispanic Studies. The Society performs services to the school in the form of tutoring, and aids Latin Ameri- can students in Operation Ninos. SPANISH CLUB El Circulo Espanol strives to acquaint its members with the culture of Spanish- speaking nations. Its thirty members an- nually participate in a Pinata celebration and a trip to New York.
