SPECIAL HONORS This fine group of students represented Pennsauken at Boys' and Girls' State on the Rutgers and Douglass campuses, at the United Nations. and at the Girls, Citizenship Institute. Through these ac- tivities, they have learned of the prob- lems of government, the meaning of citi- zenship, and the part they are to play in their country's future. We were especially honored to have a member of the Senior Class chosen Camden County Junior Miss. LIBRARY COUNCIL Each member of the Library Council spends at least two study halls a week helping with routine procedures in the li- brary. The outstanding achievements of the Library Council this year include a cookie sale at the Adult School and a Christmas party for underprivileged chil- dren. It also contributes annually to the Foreign Exchange Student program. one hundred and forty-three

FUTURE TEACHERS OFJMMERKDX The Pennsauken Chapter of the Future Teachers of America tries to instill in its members the importance of educating young people today. The monthly meet- ings provide the basis for the club's many activities, such as giving a Valentine Tea for the faculty, making a food basket for the needy at Christmas, and observing Junior High classes. FUTURE HONHHAAKERS OFlMMERKDX The Future Homemakers of America broadens the knowledge of the students and instills in them the ideals of home- making. Among the activities in which this club participates are cake sales, an annual fashion show, a faculty tea, and the annual Homecoming Parade.
