l CLASS HISTORY OUR JUNIOR YEAR . . . 1953-1954 This year began our careers as upperclassmen. It was a wonderful feeling. It wasn't long before our class rings came, and with the help of our sponsor, Miss Katherine Gaventa, we received them. Then we plunged into our class elections. This year our officers were George Westcott, Presi- dent, Sue Dale, Vice President, Mary Ann Whit- aker, Secretary, and ,lay Hodges, Treasurer. When Christmas rolled around, we presented our class play, The Treef, It was just a matter of a few months before we were engrossed in our Prom, 'IAn Evening in Paris. Now we were tops in high school society . . . we were Seniors. OUR SENIOR YEAR . . . 1954-1955 At last! We had reached the peak of our high school careers, we were seniors. First we ordered our class pictures with the guidance of our sponsor, Mrs. Davidson. The officers who would lead us in this, our final year, were George Westcott. President, Daniel Bergbauer, Vice President, Ber- tha Olsen, Secretary, and ,lay Hodges, Treasurer. The annual Senior Dance was followed by the ordering of our name cards. Finally, there came the event for which we had planned and waited for four long years . . . the Class Trip. It was a wonderful trip, one which we shall never forget. Then we were on the stage . . . graduating. It had happened so suddenly that before we knew it, we were alumni. It was over in a moment, but we shall remember it all our lives. gs 2.,j ':,'ff, .'. .
