One of the important functions of the school is the Student Council. This group, or governing body, is made up of one student representative from each homeroom. To be elected to Student Council is considered a great honor, but an even greater honor is to be elected as an officer of the Council. This organization, under the leadership of Mrs. Allen and Mr. Richie, works for the betterment of the school by bringing faculty and students closer together. The experience, which is obtained by student council members during their four years in high school is a benefit to them in their future years, for this, work trains them to be the future leaders of America.
