Charles faced a big job when he returned to school as a senior. and that job was President of Student Council. Charles leaves all the pencils in his possession to Willard Titus. We prophesy that Charles will be president of Rutgers University. JAMES GATES Commerrial Jim hails from Deepwater. We think he is a nice guy. and wish him luck in his future. We hope it will be a merry one. ,lim leaves anything to anybody who wants it. We predict that Jimmy will take care of our television shows. JEANETTE GIORDANO SHORTY,' Commercial Knitting Club 1g Dancing Club 1. Although Shorty comes from Pedricktown. you can usually see her sitting in the Sweet Shoppe. She spends a lot of her time writing letters, and not to her girl friends. We wish her lots of luck in the future. Shorty leaves her place in the cafeteria line to her cousin Mary Lou. We see Shorty as chief switchboard operator on our 4'Showboat. SARAH ARNETTA GREEN USARAHN Commercial and College Prep Knitting Club 1, 2. 3g Lunch Patrol lg Work in the Cafeteria. Sarah is a reliable hand in the Library. She takes her work seriously and we know she will succeed in the future. Good luck to a nice girl. Sarah leaves Re Hi to the incoming freshmen. We pro- phesy that Sarah will be a vacationing school nurse on the Showboat. Shirley can be seen after school and week-ends working in the 5 and 10. She has been a big help in the Library and is also active in other school activities. Shirley leaves her seat in Mr. Ellis' room to her sister. Elizabeth. We foresee that Shirley will be a teacher at Lower Penns Neck. LOREN RUSSELL HACKETT 'iHACK,, Commercial Ordmont Hi-Y 1-4. Hack was voted our class clown, and we cer- tainly agree. You just can't stop laughing when he's around. Seriously, he has done very well in com- mercial work and we know he-'ll succeed in anything he undertakes to do. Hack leaves his loud mouth to Bill Fair. We prophesy that Loren will be a ventriloquist in the Showboat production.

She is next to the last of the Harcum family and well-known for her red hair. She bequeaths her seat in Miss Kidd's room to her sister Jane. We see Gladys in ten years as manieurist in the Sh0wboat's barber shop. HENRY HAWKINS HANK Commercial Baseball 1-4g Football Manager 3. Henry is a little guy with a big ambition. He is renowned in Re Hi as a baseball fan. He is aiming to'be a National League Umpire. He leaves to George Batchis his baseball arguments about the Yankees with Devonshire. In 1964, Henry will be a nationally celebrated Nat'l League Umpire. NELVA HERRMAN College Prep Homeroom Banker 1: Tri-Hi-Y 13 Red Cross 13 Twirling lg Science Club 13 Hall Patrolg Red and White Salesman. Anyone going up the center steps while passing classes can spot Nelva standing on patrol. She is also a Deepwater student. She wills all of her homework and good times to her sister. We pre- dict that Nelva will be district nurse of Deepwater. MARGUERITE HEWITT MARCUS College Prep and Commereial Hockey 13 Choir 1-4: Band 3-4g Tri-Hi-Y 3-43 JCL 1-23 Red and White 1-45 Sa ,la Re 2: Honor Society 4. Margie is a hard-working senior who is interested in nursing. She is one of the majorettes who adds pep to our band. She leaves all her problems of her senior year to Ruth Peters. We see Margie in the future as head nurse of Delaware Hospital. FRANCIS C. HILLMAN Cum General Basketball 3-44 Spartans Clubg Hi-Y 1-3g Man- ager of Football 3. Chin spends a lot of his time standing in front of the Sweet Shoppe. He really enjoys his study halls in Mr. Robinson's room by visiting his locker frequently. He leaves with these words, Oh, Happy Day! In 1964, we see Chin as manager of the new Du Pont Company started along the Amazon in South America.
