Bette is one of our smaller girls. but as they say, Nice things come in small packages. ln spite of her smallness, she is really energetic and is an ardent sports fan. Bette leaves to Lillimae Guilfoyle. her seat in flliss Kidd's homeroom. We prophesy that Bette will be a USO Hostess for our service dances on the Showboat. ELEANOR CATTS nELEANOR,, Commercial Photography Club 23 Homeroom Banker 23 Lunch Patrol 33 Chairman Magazine Campaign 1, 3. Eleanor has a cheery disposition except when she has trouble opening that stubborn locker of hers. Eleanor leaves all her good times in Re-Hi to Lois Nixon. In 1964 we prophesy Eleanor to he secre- tary to the principal of Re Hi, vacationing on the 'Showboat. ERNEST CHANCE ERN General Football 1-21 Basketball I-23 Track l-2. Ernie is all ready with a friendly remark and one of his special smiles for everyone. His closest rhums are Weasel and :Xldo. Ernie lz-axes all his books to Nick Caggiano. We see Ernie. a sailor. attending the LSO Dances on the Show- boat.

To have someone call her Marie is her pet peeve. Mary leaves all her seats in the front of the room when arranged alphabetically to her brother Frank. We see Mary on the Showboat as the vacationing secretary of the Farmer's Asso- ciation. MILDRED BEASLEY 66MIL,, Commercial Social Dancing 13 Knitting Club 1. Mil was one of the girls who attended Hi-So dances regularly last year. Now she is patiently waiting for the times when a certain sailor has a leave. Mil leaves Re Hi for Jim. ln 1964, we see Mildred as a Mrs. on the Showboat. ELIZABETH BLOCKSOM BETTY Commercial Dancing Club 13 Visual Aids 2-43 Tri-Hi-Y 1-43 Red Cross. 'LBetty is one of our few girl members of Visual Aids. She seems to like dancing and spends quite a bit of time polishing up at the MY. Betty leaves her seat in the office practice class to her sister. Cathy. ln the future we see Betty, bookkeeper at Lhe Shell Road Garage. vacationing on the Show- oat. Barb is our most popular senior. lf you know her, you can well see that she lives up to the description. She leaves Be Hi to wait patiently for the class of 55. In the future. we see her as the head of the Women's Division of the YMCA, vaca- tioning on the Showboat. HELEN BOELLAARD HE1.E1vw Commercial Stud. Council 1-33 Class Sec. 2-33 Cheerleader 2-43 Lib. Club 1-33 Tri-Hi-Y 1-4. Helen always has a cordial greeting for evervone. She is one of our top cheerleaders and yells herself hoarse at the football and basketball games, Slic wills her good times as a cheerleader to Myra Brubaker and Jean Brown. We see Helen on the Showhoat as cheerleader for the football team. ORLANDO BORELLI l,11vm',' Commercial Basketball 1-4. Lindy is one of our few Glenside students. This lucky guy gets all his after date snacks at dis- count. He simply leaves Re-Hi. We predict Orlando will be the owner of the ship's Pizzeria.

BARRIE CHAPMAN 'tB.1RR1E General liancl l-3. Barrie is known as a f'Cool Cat because of his sharp way of dressing. He has also adapted the Philly style of dancing that really looks nice the way he does it. Barrie is leaving Re-Hi to anybody who wants it. In 1964 we see Barrie as a dancing instructor for Arthur Murray. vacationing on the 'iShowboat.,' ELLIO CHIACCHIO uE1.L General Football l-4g Basketball l-4g Track 1--1. Eli, the captain of our football team, was voted our most athletic senior. He is the idol of many a boy and girl and we don't think they could find a much better one. Eli leaves his football uniform to Nick Caggiano. On the Showboat Ellio will be in charge of sports. CHARLES CLARK MCH.-4RL1E General Football 1-4g Track 3-4. Even though Charlie is a tall boy, he's really down to earth when it comes to being a friend to everyone. All who know him think he's a swell guy. Charlie leaves Re-Hi willingly. ln the future, Charlie will be designer of the 'iShowboat's sport uniforms. JAMES CLARK uflylii College Prep Visual Aids l-4: Camera Club 23 Bachelor Club 23 JCL 2g Choir 2, 49 Ag Club 39 Science Club 3-4: Track 3-4. Jim complains a lot about his homework, but it must be worth those good marks he gets. .lim leaves his seat in the Physics lab to John Frazee, providing he doesn't look out the window. We see Jim as a supervisor for repairs of mechanical equipment on the f'Showboat. RENA CLARK HRE.vA Commercial Banker lg Social Dancing lg Homeroom President 3. Rena likes to ride around in a certain black Fordg and spends a lot of time in Salem. We wonder who deserves the credit for this? Rena leaves her pencil stub in the second locker on the middle floor by the library to her freshman sister. Janet. We prophesy Rena will be the hairdresser for the actresses on Showboat. ELEANOR CLARKE t'NoR Commercial Tri-Hi-Y 1-4. Nor is nearly always clowning around. She seems to prefer that to being serious and we're glad, be- cause we really like her that way. Eleanor leaves all her shorthand notes to Betty DeSylvestero. ln 1964 we see Eleanor as nurse assistant to the doctor on the Showboat. WN
