sgioorb Why do we students go out for sports? Do we go out to help the team and to better the reputation of Pennridge? Do we enjoy the pain of an injured limb or new worn blisters? Do we enjoy the torture of fighting for a breath of air which doesn't seem to come? Do we like the dizziness and the nausea caused by a grueling practice in a sweat soaked uniform? Do we like to go home after practice with our muscles aching and tired? We like the sweat to drip from our bodies. We want to help the team. We want to help further the reputation of Pennridge. We want to test ourselves. We don't like the blisters and exhaustion that go with sports. The good feeling of victory, with the knowledge that it was achieved through long hard work, far overshadows the discomforts of victory.
