Pennriclge High School Band The Pennridge Band, under the direction of Mr. Chet Acaley, is the largest organization in the school. The Band is composed of 87 students who play instruments, 10 majorettes, and 5 color guard members. The Band is an all-year organi- zation. It meets three times a week during the school term, and the members also attend summer practices and sectional lessons. Band members who desire further participation may become members of the Bux-Mont Band, District Band, or State Band. The Band is definitely one of the Color 'Guard most active organizations in the school. The Ram Band has three major functions. It represents Pennridge at half-time during the football games. A new show is performed at each game, The Band then practices all winter to present a Spring Concert, The Band also re- presents the Pennridge area in local, state, and national parades. This year the Band had the honor of marching in the International Lions Parade in New York City and in the Miss America Pageant Parade in Atlantic City. 130 Our Football Queen Majorettes of -Q ' f . 2 a - 1, Q K' v Q 1' VA Nj V X - ' 'E 'cv g .
