All freshmen reeene '1 basic course in art. 11Q ART The art department is the place where one may find a future Saint-Gauclens, lwichelangelo, or Picasso. The student at Pennridge is fortunate in having a well equipped art room and a talented teacher. Art is a required subject for all fresh- men. Upperelassmen who are interested may elect arts and crafts or drawing and painting. The art club provides an outlet for artistic expression for students who are unable to fit an art class into their sched- ule. Every year there are several chances for the students to exhibit their master- pieces. Everything from ceramics to house plans, from painting to mobiles can be found in these exhibitions. S.. ,mmf
