w ,t L..,p-bf The Hunting and Fishing Club of Pennridge High School, under the leader- ship of Mr. Kern, consists of boys inter- ested in learning more about these two sports and more about the outdoors in general. They are taught: how to iden- tify firearms, the proper use and care of Firearms, and archery, and fishing tech- niques. They also learn about game laws, conservation of our fields, forests and waters, and their inhabitants-the. fish and game. They have had guest speakers and many films. They sponsored an assembly program to inform the entire student body about the care and use of 'll' .VE .. fi . Reel in ri big one! A- CL Robin Hood and his Merry Men The Audubon Club is composed of stu- dents who like nature and who are eager to learn more of the mysterious world in which we live. Bird study, animal behavior, plant ap- preciation, and conservation are stressed. The club is aH:iliated with the Natiqnal Audubon Society, and received literature and information periodically. Miss Alma Campbell, the adviser, takes the club on nature hikes when the weather permits. The club aims to help preserve wild life and Works to assure that no living species shall be lost.
