CSighD, another broken record! V. Netschcr, W. Lewis, W. Bradbury, M. Bryan, E. Tornetta, B. Weidemoyer, Mr. Osler mi 'mf Setting the pace. Go Jake! ross-Country Cross-country is a new fall sport at Pennridge. It was introduced on a trial basis by Mr. William Osler a former cross-country coach at Quakertown High School. Because of a surprisingly good showing against experienced teams, it was made an official sport. Mervin Bryan was selected for the all- star team which represented our dis- trict in the state meet at Penn State. In cross-country, emphasis is put on team cooperation and not the indivi- 145 dual. The sum of the individual posi- tions finished in the race determine the score. The team with the lowest score wins.
