l. f..-at L z'L ill 3,3114 The Scoreboard Penntngton B air 26 The Raiders opened the season rn fine style with a hard earned victory over Blair This was one of the finest offensive games of the season Montgomery Trotman and Fornaro scoring touchdowns Pennington West Nottingham After a week of defensive drill the Redmen stopped West Nottingham cold on foreign so1l This win with Bob Montgomery Brewster Witt and Frank Lugossy scortng two touchdowns each proved costly as Trot man rnjured his shoulder Pennington Perkiomen 13 Perkiomen caught the Raiders on an off day as penal ties and disastrous fumbles were felt Without the services of Trotman and two 1nJured key lrnemen the team fought valiantly and Perkiomen left the field knowing they had fought hard for their team Pennington East Stroudsburg 6 Stroudsburg was outplayed rn every period as the Raiders continuously manuevered in enemy territory A fumble gave Stroudsburg a touchdown but Trotman tied up the score in a superior play Pennington 44 Farragut 6 After training hard for the little sailors it was east ly seen from the opening kickoff that the game was won Farragut was completely baffled as they watch ed Trotman race by for three touchdowns Pennington -- 12 Valley Forge -- 13 This was a real heartbreaker for with 15 seconds and a fourth -down to go Pennington was stopped one foot from triumph. Jinxed both tries for the extra point failed leaving the game to a highly talented Valley Forge team. Pennington -- 19 B M.I. -- This was the biggest game of the season for both teams. Though B M I was picked by 30 points past performances mean little when these rivals meet. There was an upset as Pennington led for the first three quarters but gave way in the last to an accurate point kicking B M I and the close of this game closed a 3-3-1 season.
