L to R D Srnglton, S George,F Dav1s, H Tabb Semor Play The hghts dlmmed, a hushed srlence fell over the au dxence, and Dust of the Road opened For thrry mrnutes four boys held everyone's rapt attenuon Fred Dav1s played Peter, who mth h1s wxfe, Hugh Tabb had prevxously committed a cr1me The appar1t1on or consc1ence was portrayed by Dave Smgleton, w1t.h earthly assxstance by the Old Man , Spencer George So successfull was the pro duct1on, that a second stagmg was performed for the bene f1t of local people The performance entaxled many long hours of memon zatxon, actmg, stage arrangement, and gu1dance Most apprelcated was the dxrectron that the boys rece1ved ln the1r mdlvrdual parts from Mrs and Mr Hawk. Th1S transformatron from Penmngton student to another hfe on the stage was a hard task for 1nexp1er1anced actors and the superb guldance d1d much to help them hurtle thrs barner A standmg ovatxon was the well deserved reward The Semor Class was proud to contrxbute to the drama t1c season rn such a successful manner, and 1Dd1V1dl13.l members of the cast hope to meet s1m11ar challenges m colleg . .: . , . ll , - . . .
