They're the ones standing on the corner of Moyer's In the rain with a tin can in their hand giving out balloons. You always see them painting windows and building floats during Homecoming weekend, setting up tents and boothes during Spring week, along with dancing for 48 hours, running around Old Main, or doing stunts at the Nat every spring. They seem to be very spirited and loyal to their own chapter — they never run out of friends. Needless to say. they do much more than wear 3 Greek letters.

Why do some of us come in pairs? It's hard enough to take care of yourself in this college mara- thon, let alone someone else. Un- like ten years ago, today's gener- ation give up their single's lifestyle for love and companionship rather than security and society pressure. Being together for feelings' sake because you enjoy being with him or her. is what's accepted now. Sunday afternoon walks along campus, Saturday night movies. Wednesday nights studying at Pat- tee. Monday morning classes at the Forum. Giving up time by yourself, means seeing more things by look- ing through someone else’s eyes. It means always having someone to do things with when classes get rough. It means finding out bad news and the world aren't so bad afterall. it means finding out what may be your better half. It means becoming more complete.
