Jr. Dean of Men To rui'. Class ok 1967: Many changes have taken place in undergraduate life at Penn State over the years. Most of the significant ones have occurred during the last two generations of college Students; that is. within the past eight or ten years. In all probability, the next eight or ten years will be as significant. Few of you will recognize the student of tomorrow in terms of the greater freedom and greater responsibility that he will enjoy. This freedom will obtain not only in his out-of-class life but in his program of studies as well. The attainment of this freedom will not In- easy and many problems will develop along the way. However, as a result of the groundwork that you have laid, a frame- work for meaningful change has been developed. FRANK J. SIMMS Dean a Men 12
