Dr. Milton S. Eisenhower assumed his duties as the 11th president of The Pennsylvania State College on July I, 1950 and was formally inaugurated at ceremonies held on October 4, 1950. During his first year on the campus, Dr. Eisenhower won the confidence and friendship of students, alumni, faculty, and the people of the Commonwealth, who look forward to a new and greater Penn State under his guidance.
