EISENHOWER President-Elect, The Pennsylvania State College MlL'l'lllll S'l'llllllll ElSlllllllllWEll Dr. Milton Stover Eisenhower, president of the Kansas State College of Agriculture and Applied Science, was elected president of the Pennsylvania State College on January 2.1, l95O, and will assume his duties on or about July l. He succeeds the late Dr. Ralph Dorn Hetzel, who died on October 3, 1947. Prior to becoming president of Kansas State in l943, Dr. Eisenhower for I9 years held important positions with the Federal government. He served with the Department of State, the Department of Agriculture, and the Office of War Information. Dr. Eisenhower is one of a famous family whose ancestors migrated to Kansas from Pennsylvania. Faculty and students on the campus and the people of the Commonwealth welcome the Eisenhower family back to Penn- sylvania.
