Want to skip class? The fields began to green slightly as temperatures rose slightly. Classes emptied slightly as students migrated to spring. The happiness generated by spring can't be denied on campus. The excitement of a sea- son touched everyone . . . Convertible tops came down, flowers bud- ded, a new government for next senior class was elected, and field parties became as pop- ular as last spring term. Seniors were ready to kidnap professors for spring activities. . ill at , rr!

SPRING Beautification Committee asked for a Fertility Day in order to celebrate spring and beautify Capitol Campus. People laughing, trees being planted, music, dig- ging, flinging dirt, a dance. Spring Week end comes for the campus. Senior par- ties and banquets top the season, top the end of four great years . . . Seniors begin to look around, taking it all in for the last term. The buildings: The cafeteria where Bernie threw out every- one who didn't have meal tickets, Church Hall where the army clique lived and ioked last year, the apartments where Miss Vance guarded her parking space, the Ad building with the mickey mouse ears on top . . . The fun. The parties. The laughter. The meals cooked on the apartment stoves. The water battles. The all-nighters. The tears . . . Yearbooks. Class rings. Dances. Good- byes. Graduation . . . Term T2 ends with a sigh, a smile, a yell, a tear, and makes ready for a new world. The end-the beginning. rr --.
