Busy, but never too busy to help a fellow student, Helen has won the hearts of many students at Manor. Glenna is a neatly-dressed, attractive girl who has plenty of what it takes to get homework done on time and correctly. She seems to especially enjoy chemistry class and Mr. Iohnson's jokesffunny or otherwise. Glenna was very active on Trumpeter staff and has done work on committees for parties and the like. She is a girl who can be depended upon for responsibilities. A real Manor man-that's Ken. He is tops in both sports and scholastic ability and well liked by all. His qualities in leadership and sportsmanship are a fact proved by his three successive years as class president. His activities in school are many, but outside of school his main interest centers around a certain short, cute girl from Lancaster. 7J:f'f ri MARGARET HARNISH ' ' Margie ' ' Senior Band 2, 3, lunior Band 2, Orchestra 2, 3, P. O. D., Archery, Senior Play, Dance Band, Traffic Officer. Here's one of Miss Coleman's managers who takes her work seriously. Her fluting can be heard in both the band and orchestra. Margie can always be found at her post as a traffic officer. She wears clothes well and is liked by all who know her. That's our Margie. VELMA HARTMAN ..ve1.. Velma can frequently be found in the library working or getting out of some work and into trouble. Norm's looks, along with his scholastic ability, make him a very popular fellow around Manor. ln addition he is a member of that popular boys' quartet and is tops in basketball and baseball. Norm plans to become a physical education instructor. His ability in athletics should help him to realize this goal, Maybe he'll coach at Manor some day.
