class of 1972 Ralph Anderson — treasurer; Lou Ann Martello — secretary; Wayne Fontana — president; Keith Calisti — vice-president; Mrs. Byers — sponsor Seniors own the halls, skip classes regularly, and raised cheating to a fine art. We’re your captains and presidents and sports stars: we get to wear the “P”. Most of the time you don’t think about being a senior at all (the class of ’72 never did do too much thinking anyway). But every once in a while it catches up with you: you count the days left until graduation and remember that this is the last Christmas you’ll ever have at Penn High. And everybody laughs at you for being so goofy, but inside they know they feel the same way. “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness ...” Sometimes, you could hardly wait for Senior Day and sometimes you wished this year would never end: some weeks went by so fast and some days dragged on so long. Being a senior is a once-in-a-lifetime happening . . you never could go back and you’d never really want to . . it’s what we’ve waited 12 years for, and now it's gone.
