dedication As we, the graduating class of 1960, look' back over our years of progress through the public schools, many persons have touched and influenced our lives. The future years will hold pleasant memories of the hard work, relaxing activities, and personal associations which we have encountered. Outstanding in all of these memories will be the friendship and encouragment ex- tended to us by Miss Ruth Peters. For years Miss Peters has prodded her students through the NOMA spelling lists, one thousand vocab- ulary words, and investigative themes. Little did those students realize the importance and values of the as- signments at that time, but many of them now ap- preciate the experience gained from them. For this rea- son, a senior can consider himself fortunate when he is assigned to her English class. In addition to her class work, Miss Peters has un- selfishly devoted her time to the school lunch program and yearbook. lt is with sincere appreciation that the editors of this yearbook, representing the student body, dedicate the 1960 Penn Point to Miss Ruth G. Peters-small re- ward for what she has given us.
