Directed by Mrs. Patricia Gottemoeller and drilled by captain Bev Best, the squad marched in pep rallies, at basketball games, and in parades. NIAJORETTES The 1966 Penn High Majorettes had another successful year under the spon- sorship of Mrs. Barbara Means. Led by captain Pat Hopper, the majorettes per- formed for football games, pep rallies, parades, and other events including the Spring Variety Club Show. CHEERLEADERS The Cheerleaders and the Squaw and Indian boosted the spirit and morale of both the Student Body and the school's athletes. Under the supervision of Miss Jane Gary, the Varsity and Junior Var- sity Cheerleaders planned the pep rallies for the football and basketball seasons, sponsored the annual Cheerleaders, Dance, and crowned Bev Best and Bill Foltz '4Miss and Mr. Football.
