There Was Mr. Beatty to help plan your respective vocational and academic schedules or to give you advice about scholarships or colleges. Also Mr. Mewhirter and Mrs. Berg helped you With schedule difficulties. In addition to this, Mrs. Berg ironed out your personal problems. Her aim was to make you a stronger personality. Besides them, Mr. Golden had the most difficult job. He served as public rela- tions man by visiting your homes if your attendance became excessive. Someone has said, Man is Wealthy not in proportion to the things he can acquire, but in proportion to what he can give away. We noted that Dr. Wherry added much to the character of school administration by his ideals and his faith in you. Mr. Alcorn excelled in the field of counseling by giving you encourage- ment and sound advice about personal and school matters. He will continue to live in the many lives he has suc- cessfully iniiuenced. We thought of Dr. Kelley as a man with many talents. Many times his bril- liant Writings, his effective speeches, and his sincere friendship inspired all of us. Yes, these men held the key to our lives. Each had his role to play.
