This year's department worked to fit the stu- dent needs and interests by offering more choices to the individual, and letting him decide what would benefit him most A new section was added to the department with seven classrooms. New equipment and modern decor complete the enlargement, Four new teachers are enjoying the department. Changes in the curriculum include a more comprehensive reading program, a speech team developing forensics and debate, and the hiring of specially trained teachers in these areas.
