Seniors traditionally man the concession stand for home football games, and close out the school year in grand style with the senior party, senior achieve- ment day, baccalaureate and commencement. Jun- iors begin early and work late so the PROM can be consistently successful. Sophs become the indoor con- cessionaires when basketball replaces the pigskin and the frosh with their eagerness, give general school support where it is needed most. This year classes united through competition to sup- port worthy projects such as project-HELP, the TB Christmas Seals Campaign, the AFS Student Ex- change Program and the never-to-be-forgotten TOR- NADO Relief Project.

Schmucker, Sponsor, Steve Fermi, Larry Brown, Bruce Bowman. Eighteen chess enthusiasts were led by a trio of tal- ented juniors, Richard VVorthington, president, Paul Mauer, vice president, and secretary Virgil Wesco. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Paul Schmucker the club sponsored three tournaments, two intra-club tourneys and one all-school tourney. Future chess club plans include possible interscho- lastic competition with other area high schools hav- ing chess clubs. An important service organization in our school is the projectionist club. Club members operate and care for the audio visual equipment of the school. Mr. Larry Nifong, and Mr, Robert O'Connor sponsor the club. The officers of the club are Ron Boling, president, Doug Jacques, vice president, and Joe Fu- rore, secretary-treasurer. A representation from the club will attend the audio visual workshop at Indi- ana University this summer. Pwj ' Manage Audia-Vsualb Aids Projectionist Jack Hiler makes a familiar trek down the hall for an Sponsors Nifong and O,Connor preside at a regular club meeting. Volunteers use their free English classroom and a scheduled periods to operate the audio visual equipment wherever needed.
