Mr. Daniel Diener, of the math department, informs and entertains li- brarian clubbers with a visual presentation of his Nigerian assignment. Mrs. Geneva Burke, a club guest, presented some interesting facts and figures on her Alaskan trip. Left to Right LIBRARIANS CLUB-ROW ONE: Vicki Mumby, Patricia Hartz, Barber Stiver. '64 Librarian Club activity began with the Hoosier Student Librarians Association Conference at Pur- due University in November. On November 24 during our regular club meeting Mr. Diener spoke of his Nigerian experiences. Just before Christmas recess the librarians honored exchange student Kesara Phuntumkomol at an after-school Christmas Party. The new year C1965j Librarian Club activity con- tinued as senior Jackie Geerligs, a participant, in the Summer Abroadi' A.F.S. program, reviewed her trip to Finland. Mrs. Geneva Burke visited our club in February. She gave an illustrated lecture on her summer tour of Alaska. A review of the book Teenage Tyranny was given by Mr. Cierzniak at our March meeting. Two April dates were reserved for librarians. On April 13 Miss Cox reviewed the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The second date fApril 243 was important to the librarians who attended the Northern Indiana Hoosier Student Li- brarians Association at the Hammond-Gavitt High School. All busy years finally end. Ours ended May 11 with a librarians party honoring our senior student li- brarians.
