A prin- cipal becomes well acquainted with variety, He ad- ministers, he approves, he disciplines, he challenges, he aids, he discusses, he champions, he laughs, he reflects, he ponders, and he announces. But most of all he conditions himself for the unexpected. The '64-'65 school year was another landmark for the citizens of our community. Wfe welcomed 150 Madison students who in turn made many out- standing contributions in all phases of our educa- tional program. The ever-expanding student enroll- ment made future planning a full time job and 1965 was greeted with the typical ground break- ing ceremonies. Penn High School expanded its, seams to provide for additional classroom space and facilities. The necessary renovations promoted progress.
