' D 055m Miss Standish makes a suggestion to senior Kay Dougall Kay was a student typist-receptionist in the guidance de- partment. The guidance program at Penn High School attempts to provide an environment in which each student can become the best possible person he is capable of becoming in relation to his abilities and to assist him in this endeavor. This year the guidance department has increased the assistantce to students in terms of educational planning and financial help needed for further edu- cation. Also, information on technical and trade schools has been increased and assistance in job placement introduced. The guidance department is ever-changing so that we can always be of service to the students, faculty, administration and community. The Bendix Corporation is programming the guid- ance department by computer. Miss Constance Standish, the Guidance Department Co-ordinator, checks her schedule as she begins another busy week. A guidance department informal.
