Mr. Sampson, a teacher acquaintance of Mr. Diener discusses the Samson's views are Jackie Gerstbaur, Diana Smith, Terri Carter, effectiveness of the Peace Corps in Nigeria. Profiting from Mr. and Mr. Daniel Diener. For juniors there are many memories from three years of high school. The class of '66 girded with the spirit of '76 remembers the tingling excitement of the pig- skin season with its invigorating crisp fall air, the ecstatic rewards of the greatest basketball season in Penn history, the long nights before research papers were due, and deadline, deadlines, deadlines. Class rings and Christmas vacation were exciting junior gifts. We remember them well. In spring a junior's fancy turns to the prom. We realized the benefits of committee cooperation on an unforgettable first of May. The 'Love is a Many Splendored Thing, theme will last for many reunions to come. For those students who achieved well scholastically the letter of invitation to the National Honor So- ciety becomes a treasured keepsake. As the school year closes and tests become more comprehensive An animated junior Ken Leach seems to be competing with his robot. Ken exhibited this project at the annual Science Fair. flats . ,li qogfbkma S and report cards become more important we take long looks at past successes and failures. XVhen the fog of doubt, discourage-ment, and disappointment rises the nine months that we were a part of Penn High seem all worthwhile. i i Mrs. Velonis of the Penn guidance department enjoys her award winning role at the Penn Science Fair. Here she presents a ribbon to Carol Meisel.
