The tragic situation in France today challenged us to do our bit to aid the war orphans through the American Relief for France . . . resulted in our sending boxes of clothing to our adopted Al- satian orphan, Elaine I-laller. Various scenettes were presented throughout the year . . . all very clever and amusing . . . among these was an episode concerning a certain damsel sitting on the hat of an American tourist in France . . . surely we won't Mr. Anthony joining us in playing 'LColin Maillardn . . . Our Christmas Pageant was particularly effective . . . a candlelight procession . . . against a background of glowing fire . . . each candle representing . . . a Hame of hope for rebuilding war- torn France.
